What is laiatu latu?

Laiatu Latu is a Tongan former professional rugby league player who played as a prop. He was born on January 1, 1982, in Vava'u, Tonga. Latu had a successful career playing for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL before moving to play for the Widnes Vikings in the Super League. He also represented Tonga at international level, playing in the 2006 Rugby League Tri-Nations. Latu was known for his strong running and hard-hitting style of play on the field. After retiring from professional rugby league, he has been involved in coaching and mentoring young players in his community.
